Air drying wood is a timely and unpredictable process that we’d like to offer an alternative to. Our Kiln will be small batch only - loads under 1000 board feet. This means we can offer our custom sawmilling customers the ability to get kiln-dried slabs without mixing their load with other species and thicknesses, resulting in a timelier and more controlled end product.

The kiln is currently under construction. Once complete, we will run a couple test load to train ourselves and work out the bugs. We hope to be hiring it out by Spring of 2026.
